These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of wisdomgatetax.com and the services offered by Wisdom Gate Tax and Advisory, a trade name of Expansion Builders LLC (“Wisdom Gate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing this website, scheduling a consultation, communicating with us, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Website Information
Information provided through this website is for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute individualized tax, legal, investment, accounting, or financial advice.
Tax laws and administrative guidance may change. Information displayed on this website may not reflect the most recent developments or apply to your particular circumstances.
You should not make financial, legal, or tax decisions solely from general website information.
No Client Relationship Created by Website Use
Visiting this website, submitting a form, sending a message, or scheduling a consultation does not automatically create a tax professional-client relationship.
A client relationship begins only after we accept the engagement and any required engagement letter, authorization, identification, intake information, and payment arrangements have been completed.
We may decline or discontinue an engagement when permitted by law or by the applicable engagement agreement.
Consultations
Consultations are intended to discuss your general situation, answer initial questions, and determine whether our services may be appropriate.
A consultation does not include tax-return preparation, tax filing, legal representation, audit representation, or a complete examination of your records unless expressly stated in a written engagement agreement.
You are responsible for attending at the scheduled time and providing accurate contact information. Cancellation and rescheduling options may be provided with your appointment confirmation.
Tax Preparation and Advisory Services
The exact scope of services, responsibilities, fees, deadlines, and deliverables will be established through the applicable engagement agreement.
We may rely on information and documents provided by you without independently auditing or verifying every item unless otherwise agreed or required.
We do not guarantee any particular refund, tax liability, processing time, audit result, credit, deduction, or other outcome.
Tax planning recommendations may depend on assumptions, future events, and laws in effect at the time the recommendation is provided.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide complete, accurate, and timely information.
• Disclose all relevant income, deductions, dependents, businesses, accounts, transactions, and tax documents.
• Review your completed tax return and supporting information before authorizing filing.
• Ask questions about anything you do not understand.
• Maintain copies of your tax returns, source documents, and other important records.
• Notify us promptly if you discover an error, omission, notice, or change affecting the engagement.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide and for reviewing your return before signing or authorizing its filing.
Secure Document Submission
Do not send Social Security numbers, tax returns, banking information, identification documents, or other sensitive information through ordinary email, text message, social media, or unsecured website forms.
We will provide secure submission instructions when sensitive documents are required.
You are responsible for protecting your own devices, passwords, email accounts, and client-portal credentials.
Electronic Filing and Authorization
A tax return will not be electronically filed until all required information, signatures, authorizations, and payment arrangements have been completed.
You must review the return and authorize filing using the required federal, state, or other applicable authorization process.
Government acceptance of an electronically filed return confirms receipt for processing. It does not guarantee the accuracy of the return or prevent examination, adjustment, delay, or other action by a taxing authority.
Fees and Payments
Service fees will be communicated through the applicable engagement agreement, pricing disclosure, invoice, or payment arrangement.
Additional forms, schedules, amended returns, bookkeeping, representation, research, late information, or work outside the original scope may result in additional fees.
Government charges, bank-product fees, payment-processing fees, software fees, refund-transfer fees, and other third-party charges may apply when disclosed and authorized.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are based on services performed and are not contingent upon the amount of a refund or tax result.
Refund Transfers and Third-Party Financial Products
If you elect a refund-transfer or other third-party financial product, that product is provided under the third party’s separate terms, fees, eligibility standards, and privacy policy.
We do not control government refund timing, bank processing, offsets, holds, identity-verification requirements, or other actions taken by taxing authorities or financial institutions.
Communications
By providing your contact information, you authorize us to contact you regarding consultations, requested services, documents, deadlines, account matters, and other communications related to your inquiry or engagement.
Email and standard text messaging may not be secure. Do not use those methods to send sensitive tax or financial information.
Your use of text messaging is also subject to our SMS Terms and Consent page.
Text Messaging
If you separately consent to receive text messages from Wisdom Gate Tax and Advisory, message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing services. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s text, branding, graphics, downloads, educational materials, and original content are owned by or licensed to Wisdom Gate Tax and Advisory.
You may view or download materials for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written permission.

Our website may contain links to scheduling platforms, secure portals, payment processors, tax software, government websites, or other third-party services.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, policies, or performance. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
Website Availability
We attempt to maintain an accurate and functional website, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the absence of harmful components.
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the website without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its general content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Nothing in these Terms limits responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any limitations related to professional services will be governed by the applicable engagement agreement and applicable law.
Privacy
Your use of the website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute concerning general website use will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Virginia unless a separate written agreement requires a different process.
